Holiday Flower Centrepiece

  1. Choose 5 colour tissue circles and stack them in a pile.
  2. Starting at the edge closest to you, fold in over 1/2 inch. Then flip it over and fold it back on the other side. Continue folding up the pile 1/2 inch at a time until it looks like an accordion. Just like in video
  3. Wrap pipe cleaner around the tissue accordion in the centre, as the stem.
  4. Hold the stem and gently open up the tissue accordion and begin pulling the top layer straight up. Repeat this step for each layer, and then repeat on the other side.
  5. Repeat to make as many flowers as you like for your vase!
  6. To decorate vase, cut burlap approximately 2″ wide, and long enough to wrap around the jar. Glue strip onto mason jar, using a glue gun.
  7. Cut a long piece of coloured hemp to wrap around the burlap as many times as you would like. Tie off and cut.
  8. Fill mason jar with mine pine cones, and add your beautiful tissue flowers!
  9. Voila!
