Beaded Planter

Make your own:

  1. Start by filling the plastic flower pot about halfway with moss. This gives you a base to “plant” your beads into.
  2. Cut several lengths of wire or pipe cleaner and bead away! You can create vines, flower stems, or even spiky “succulents.” Pro tip: Mix colors, textures, and even shapes to give your plant personality!
  3. Once you’ve made 5–8 beaded strands, group them together and twist the bottoms so they hold as one “plant.” You can add a final large bead at the base to help keep it in place.
  4. Plant your Beads! Insert the base of your beaded bundle into the moss-filled pot. Press in firmly or secure with a bit of glue if needed. You will want to cover the base with additional moss to hide the tied part and give it a lush, finished look!
  5. Place your beaded plant on a windowsill, desk, or shelf — no sun or watering required!
  6. Voila!
