Apple Print Canvas Place Mat

1. Cut apple in half, top down. On the half with the skin, cut 2 wedges out of the apple creating a grip or handle.
2. Place liner under placemat to protect your work surface.
3. Pour acrylic paint onto “palette” or styrofoam meat tray.
4. Either dip the flat side of the apple into the paint and stamp the apple onto the canvas, OR paint a thick layer of the colour onto the apple and stamp onto the canvas to avoid excess paint.
5. Repeat as many times, with as many colours as you like! (You may or may not want to wash the apple in between colours to keep the original hues)
6. Allow paint to dry completely.
7. Voila!
